New !

Switch to electric without penalty with a financial lease contract

By concluding a financial lease contract with Bedrijfswagenleasing, you have the option to switch to an electric company car in the coming years without penalty, whenever it suits you. This way you don't run any risks and you can easily adapt to the new rules in the future.

Changes in 2025

In 2025, a number of things will change with regard to commercial vehicles. For example, from 2025, cities will be allowed to introduce zero-emission zones, which means that only vehicles without emissions will be allowed to enter these zones. For companies, this means that commercial vehicles that run on petrol or diesel will no longer be allowed in these zones. This makes it important to be able to use an electric commercial vehicle, so that you can continue to reach your customers everywhere. In addition, from 2025, the bpm exemption for commercial vehicles that run on gas, petrol or diesel will disappear. This means that you will have to pay bpm as soon as you purchase a new commercial vehicle, which will increase the purchase costs considerably. The bpm rate will be calculated based on the emissions of the commercial vehicle. The more your commercial vehicle emits, the higher the bpm you pay for the commercial vehicle. However, the bpm exemption will continue to apply to electric commercial vehicles. Another good reason to ultimately opt for an electric commercial vehicle.

How can we help you?

To relieve entrepreneurs, we at Bedrijfswagenleasing have developed a product with which we fully facilitate your transition to zero-emission/electric. This way you don't have to worry about whether you can still reach your customers in the city or whether you have to pay a high purchase price for a new commercial vehicle with a combustion engine. If you take out a financial lease contract with Bedrijfswagenleasing, you can switch to an electric commercial vehicle that we supply to you whenever you want without penalty.  We trade in your company car and conclude a new agreement for the same period as your first financial lease contract. This way you can easily adapt to the new changing rules in the future!

Frequently asked questions

  • What information do I need to provide for an application?
We must receive the following information for an application: personal data, Chamber of Commerce number and a copy of ID.
  • Do I own the company car with a financial lease?
With a financial lease you are the direct economic owner of your company car. This means that the company car is company property and is on the balance sheet of your company. As long as your financial lease contract is running, the lease company is still the legal owner. Has the company car been paid off? Then you are the full owner of the company car. Both economically and legally..
  • Why financial lease?
Financial lease has many advantages for you as an entrepreneur. The main advantage of a financial lease is that, unlike other forms of leasing, you are the direct beneficial owner of the vehicle. Financial lease is the only lease form where you have this option. You also benefit from tax benefits, do not have to pay a large amount in one go, the monthly amount can be adjusted to your financial situation, you keep the assets for the company and you build up a piggy bank.
  • What is the difference between finance lease and operating lease?
You can best see a financial lease as a loan. You buy a company car and pay it back to us in installments. You are then the direct economic owner of the company car. With an operational lease you pay a fixed amount per month to use the company car. You are not the owner, at the end of the contract you return the vehicle. With operational lease, however, you are completely unburdened.
